A Flat Rate and Fewer Steps

David Kreisberg of ScanPay

For contractors and home service businesses, getting paid isn’t always as simple as sending an invoice.

Most are already accepting credit cards. The question is what they’re paying to do it — and whether the system they’re using is actually working for them.

ScanPay offers a simple answer to both. A flat 2.5% per transaction, no monthly fees or extra charges, and no commitment to a minimum volume. The platform works from any phone or computer, with no additional hardware.

“It’s a credit card processing app,” said David Kreisberg of ScanPay. “Two and a half percent flat on every transaction — no extra fees, no monthly fees.”

Businesses can accept every major credit card, along with tap-to-pay and Apple Pay, directly on any device. Invoicing is also included. “Free invoicing — as much invoicing as you want,” Kreisberg said. Invoices can be created and sent through email, text, or WhatsApp, with no limits on volume.

For contractors managing teams in the field, a job management tool allows crews to create jobs, track progress, and coordinate work across a project. When disputes or chargebacks arise, ScanPay provides direct support — a real person works with the business to address the issue rather than leaving them to navigate the process alone.

Instant payouts are available for an additional fee, moving funds into an account within minutes. Standard transfers follow typical processing timelines.

The no-commitment model is built in. Some businesses use ScanPay daily, while others only use it periodically.

“You can use it once a month, you can use it twice a year,” Kreisberg said. “It doesn’t really matter.”

ScanPay has been growing since launching around 2020, used by contractors, plumbers, painters, HVAC companies, and other home service businesses across the United States. The platform continues to expand into new markets.

At OJBA, the team connects with contractors and service providers who are often already running a payment system but are looking for simpler pricing and fewer moving parts.
