Keeping chimneys and venting systems in good repair is vital to the performance of the entire heating system. It’s a job that takes a lot of know-how, and people don’t always realize that. It’s also important to design and get the sizing of the chimney and the breaching layout.
There’s another critical aspect- the materials. It’s vital to use top-of-the-line quality material. “ You need to use the correct material for the correct building. You can’t use material meant for a four-story building for one that is six stories. It happens very often- customers come to us a few years after having gotten the work elsewhere and a few years later they are failing inspections… ”
