Because business isn’t just about what you know, it’s about who you know.
Yehuda Steinberg of Kurrent Kitchen and Bath
Yehuda Steinberg is director of sales for Kurrent’s commercial kitchen and bath division. And he brings something that is in short supply in the world of commercial plumbing fixtures, really excellent customer service. Kurrent has always offered white glove service to their residential clients, but they are passionate about offering the same courtesy and professionalism to their commercial clients, who are not often treated that way in their efforts to outfit their commercial properties with kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Kurrent’s commercial department specializes in finding more cost-effective, yet quality fixtures for their clients. “In commercial, literally every dollar counts, “he explains. “Builders and management companies come to us with the designer’s plan, and we approximate it, but for a much lower price point.” When outfitting many units this can really impact margins of profitability.
Kurrent’s beautiful and spacious showroom is located in Boro Park Brooklyn, but they’ve grown well beyond the local area.
Kurrnet is happy to ship orders nationwide to residential clients. Commercial clients are a bit more challenging due to the logistics needed to provide large quantities. They’ve shipped to states as far away as Texas and Florida, but the bulk of their commercial efforts are focused on the tri-state area.
In terms of shows, OJBA is a natural fit for Kurrent, which is looking to keep expanding the commercial department. Real estate, construction and management pros form the bulk of show’s attendees and exhibitors so it’s definitely the right place for Kurrent to be. “The company started out servicing residential clients, but now it’s snowballed and commercial has become a large part of our business.”
The logistics involved in getting everything where it needs to be when it needs to be, are quite complex. “Every job has parts that are challenging. I’m super comfortable with THIS type of challenge!”
