Complete Window and Door Solutions, Managed Start to Finish

Shulem Lebovits of Lucid Windows & Doors

Window and door installation takes more than the right products. Jobs slow down when measurements don’t match, installers arrive unprepared, or no one takes responsibility for the finishing work that follows. For builders juggling multiple trades, working with one team from start to finish can prevent weeks of delays and a dozen missed calls.

Lucid Windows & Doors makes that possible. Based in Brooklyn, the company serves residential and commercial clients across New Jersey, the Hudson Valley, Upstate New York, and Western Connecticut. In over seven years, Lucid has completed 275 projects and installed more than 120,000 windows. The company works with trusted brands such as Andersen, Pella, Gamco, and Crystal on projects from homes to commercial buildings.

Lucid’s process starts before any orders are placed. “We go down to your site and measure every window,” said founder Shulem Lebovits. “We don’t rely on architect plans. Even in large multi-building projects, we measure each one.” That precision has earned Lucid its reputation. When the windows arrive, they fit. When installation begins, there are no surprises.

From there, Lucid manages the full scope of work. “Our specialty is doing everything from A to Z,” Shulem said. “We purchase, install, waterproof, and trim — the whole package. One call and we take care of the rest.” By keeping the process in-house, Lucid eliminates the headaches of juggling multiple contractors and ensures reliable results throughout.

The company’s 12-member team handles both residential and commercial work… from replacements and renovations to curtain walls, storefronts, and vestibules for offices and multifamily projects.

Much of Lucid’s growth comes from relationships built through OJBA. After exhibiting at OJBA NY last year, Shulem returned this year to strengthen those connections — many of which have turned into ongoing collaborations with other window companies. “I met a lot of companies that do the same as me,” he said. “Throughout the year, we exchange business. When I think back… how did I get this contact? It was OJBA.”
