Flooring is a decision that shapes a space for years. The right choice in quality, fit, and durability continues to perform well over time and supports the way the space is used day to day. When it’s done right, it holds up without needing to be revisited.
Sky Flooring takes that long-term view in how it builds and delivers its products. Based in Englewood, NJ, the company manufactures and distributes flooring for residential and commercial projects across the United States, working exclusively with industry professionals; retailers, distributors, installers, architects, and designers.
The slogan ‘Rely on Sky’ wasn’t developed as a tagline after the fact.
“I took a pen and paper and wrote down the slogan,” said Simcha Lichtig. “Our customer service is number one. We stand behind everything 100%. If anything goes wrong, we take care of it.”
That backing extends well beyond the initial order.
“Even ten years later, we’ll still respond, we’ll still show up, and we’ll make sure everything is right.”
Sky Flooring’s vinyl line is available in both glue-down and click systems. The 12×24 format covers an expanding range of colors, including stone and carpet looks. Custom work is also available — any color, any pattern, including chevron — even for smaller-scale projects.
At this year’s OJBA show, the company introduced something new.
After more than a year of development, Sky Flooring launched its first pre-finished engineered hardwood line. The release includes two series — Sky Axis, with 6-inch planks, and Sky Reserve, with a wider 7.5-inch option — both designed to be stocked, with custom configurations available for specific projects.
The response began before the product was even available. Contractors and designers were already requesting quotes based on samples shown at the booth.
“We’ve been hearing the demand for a long time,” Lichtig said. “We worked on this for over a year, and we’re excited to launch it.”
For those working through selections with clients, Sky Flooring also offers a virtual reality visualization tool on its website, allowing flooring to be previewed in a space before committing.
Sky Flooring has been a regular presence at OJBA for years. One connection made at last year’s show developed into an ongoing relationship with a management company, leading to multiple large-scale orders.
