Connecting Builders with Materials That Solve the Unusual
Adam Stoler of Envision Rep Group
Some projects need materials you won’t find in a catalog… a synagogue that needs decorative work no stone can match, or a historic auditorium where 150-year-old plaster must be recreated. That’s when builders call Adam Stoler.
Based in Riverdale, the Bronx, founder Adam Stoler runs Envision Rep Group on his own. He connects contractors and architects with manufacturers who make niche products for projects others can’t easily supply. “I represent the kind of materials others only wish they could,” he said.
Adam represents a network of manufacturers across the country, choosing the right partner for each project instead of relying on a single product line. “When you represent one manufacturer, you’re fitting a round peg into a square hole,” he said. “I don’t. I go to a different manufacturer for each job.”
His recent work includes a synagogue in Rockland County — the “Disney shul,” as his wife calls it — featuring composite artwork from a Los Angeles fabricator that also builds for Disney and Las Vegas resorts. In New England, he helped a private school replace crumbling plaster with GFRG panels that match the original design. His territory stretches from the Bronx to Buffalo, Albany, Boston, and Providence. “I try to go where people don’t service,” he said.
Adam’s approach is simple: listen first. “You don’t give an answer; you give a response,” he said. “I hear you. I understand your challenge. Let me figure this out.” Every message gets a reply within 24 hours… except on Shabbos and Yom Kippur. “That doesn’t mean I have the answer. It means I’ve given you the courtesy of a response.”
At The OJBA show, Adam exhibited with several of his newest materials… and the booth stayed busy all day. “I can’t keep up with the people showing up in my booth,” he said.
Envision Rep Group will be exhibiting again at the upcoming OJBA this December. Stop by Booth #325 to meet Adam and learn how he can help with your next project.
