Smart Locks That Work From Your Phone
Ben Eidlisz of DUSAW
Property managers know the drill. Tenants get locked out. Cleaning crews need access. Contractors show up when you’re not around. Traditional keys get lost, copied, or passed along without control. For commercial properties – multifamily buildings, offices, hotels, student housing – managing access can turn into a full-time hassle.
Ben Eidlisz, a partner at DUSAW, described how their smart lock systems are designed to solve that problem. “We do smart lock systems for multifamily, hotels, office, healthcare, Airbnb, student housing, and more. We have great hardware, great software, and we’re constantly updating with new features and different technology integrations.”
The concept is straightforward: control every door from your phone. Need to let someone in? Send them a passcode or give them access through the app. And this year at OJBA, DUSAW unveiled a feature that makes it even simpler: managers can now create a link that opens doors with a single click… no app required. “You click on the link and it’ll open the door,” Ben said.
The applications are immediate and flexible. As Ben described, “If there’s a cleaning crew and you want to give access, every Tuesday between 2:00 and 6:00, they can have a link.” A contractor can be given one-time access. A tenant’s guest can get in without downloading anything. Even at home, a husband can share a link with his wife so she can enter without needing the app.
Based in Lakewood, NJ, DUSAW was founded in 2014 with a focus on hotels and has since expanded into multifamily, offices, healthcare, and more. Serving multifamily, hotels, offices, healthcare, Airbnb, and student housing, DUSAW combines hardware with software that’s continually updated with new features and integrations – technology that’s already in daily use by satisfied customers. Its hardware includes fingerprint recognition, key fobs, and passcodes, while its software enables remote management and activity tracking. DUSAW’s hotel safes are installed at properties such as Parker New York, Resorts World Catskills, and Hilton Norfolk. The Main… evidence that their products are trusted in busy hospitality settings.
This was Ben’s third year exhibiting at OJBA, where he used the platform to debut a new feature and show how access control continues to evolve.
Watch Ben demonstrate how DUSAW’s smart lock system makes access easier for everyone… from property managers to tenants, guests, and crews.
