From Site Prep to Finished Exterior
Yaakov Wagschal of Rise Up Framers, Perfection Paving, and Suncat Excavators
Before a building takes shape, the site has to be prepared. Excavation clears and grades the property. Framing raises the structure. And once the interior trades have finished their work, paving completes the exterior so the property can be used.
For Yaakov Wagschal, those stages are covered by three related companies: Suncat Excavators, Rise Up Framers, and Perfection Paving. Based in Monsey, New York, the companies handle different phases of the same construction sequence.
“Interestingly enough, they are interconnected,” Wagschal said. “We start and we finish — that’s the connection.”
Excavation prepares the site before framing begins. Once the structure is in place and the other trades complete their work, paving closes out the project — “A to Z,” as he put it.
The group exhibited at OJBA in 2023, when Wagschal was representing the excavation and framing companies. The addition of Perfection Paving is part of what brought the team back this year. The previous show also produced a lasting result: a framing client picked up at that event is still an active customer today.
“We hope we could pick up some more,” Wagschal said.
