Brian explained at the OJBA show, their approach is practical and hands-on. “We don’t use the big scooping machines. We use an air spader to clear the roots, clip carefully, and then move the tree — sometimes by crane if needed. There’s always a way to do it.”
One of their more unique services is moving fruit trees to farms upstate, where they continue to grow for years. For property owners, it means a tree’s value can be preserved by relocating it instead of losing it.
Brian also stressed the importance of timing. Tree work is far simpler and less costly when his team is involved from the start. “If you call us two months ahead, we can handle the permits and get the trees out quickly,” he said. “If you wait until the scaffolding is already built, it’s going to take all day and cost three times as much.”
This year was Ultimate Tree Care’s first time exhibiting at OJBA, and the reception was immediate. “It’s been very busy, which is phenomenal,” Brian noted. “There’s been strong interest, especially from construction companies who just want someone reliable to handle the trees so they don’t have to worry about it.”
For Brian, the show wasn’t only about generating leads. “It’s great networking, and that’s what we want… to get the word out and build relationships.” His humor, energy, and practical advice stood out on the show floor, showing contractors that even complicated jobs can be handled with the right approach.
